Programs & Offerings
At Coastal Hope for Healing, our programs create spaces of connection, support, and renewal. From mentorship circles and mindful reading groups to wellness events and storytelling series, each offering is designed to bring hope, healing, and community to those navigating life during and after breast cancer.
Breast Reconstruction Facebook Support Group
This private Facebook group provides a supportive and informative space for individuals navigating breast reconstruction after breast cancer. Members share experiences, ask questions, and exchange practical insights about treatment, recovery, and life beyond surgery. Our goal is to foster connection, understanding, and confidence through every stage of the reconstruction journey.
The Mentorship Collective
The Mentorship Collective is a supportive, peer-led program that connects individuals considering or navigating breast reconstruction with mentors who have already walked the path. Through one-to-one mentorship, group conversations, and Q&As in our Facebook support community, participants can learn from real experiences, ask honest questions, and gain reassurance, insight, and connection at every stage of the journey. Being a mentor is also a great way to share your experience, find meaning, and give back to the community.
The Reading Refuge
The Reading Refuge is a monthly, drop-in friendly reading and reflection series created for people navigating breast cancer recovery, survivorship, and life after treatment. Each month features a thoughtfully selected nonfiction, memoir, or literary work that speaks honestly to themes like identity, grief, resilience, self-trust, and rebuilding life after illness — without pressure to “stay positive” or rush healing. These books were chosen for their emotional intelligence, real-world relevance, and ability to validate the complex experiences survivors often carry. Participants are welcome to read in full, explore excerpts, or simply join the conversation — at their own pace, in their own way. Between meetings, participants are invited to stay connected and support one another in our Breast Reconstruction Facebook Support Group.
